This Disneyland features attractions tailored to Chinese citizens and tourists from all over the world alike. Cast members in the parks speak English, as well as Cantonese and Mandarin. One of the most popular theme parks in the world, Hong Kong Disneyland regularly reaches capacity during peak times.

Best attractions and Rides
HK Disneyland features many rides that will be familiar to hardcore Disney fans. The land also puts a spin on some classics and features rides that cannot be found at any other Disney park.
Disney park fans and fans of immersive rides cannot afford to pass up these great rides.
The Mystic Manor is Hong Kong’s answer to the classic Haunted Mansion ride found at many other Disney destinations. The ride does away with Haunted Mansion’s references to spirits but still pays homage to the ride it is based on.
Set in a similarly styled Victorian mansion, the ride’s technology impressively uses no set track. Rather, the carriages travel using radio frequencies and follow their own unique path. This is one of the most complexly designed rides Disney has ever Imagineered into existence, and guarantees you will never find another ride like it.
Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars
This is one for roller coaster fans. Borrowing elements from classic Disney rides like Big Thunder Mountain, traditional show the Country Bear Jamboree, and newer ride Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Mine Cart ride, this ride is loosely based on Sierra Nevada Mountains and Yellowstone.
It also pays homage to Disney World Animal Kingdom’s Expedition Everest roller coaster, as first-time riders may be surprised to find themselves being propelled backward at one point through the coaster.
If you’re a hardcore roller coaster fan and looking for a thrilling ride at HK Disneyland, you’ll want to be sure to ride the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars.
Star Wars fans rejoice: HK Disneyland has joined California Disneyland in rebranding Space Mountain into the galaxy far far away themed Hyperspace Mountain.
This ride replaces classic Space Mountain music and theming with Star Wars imagery and sounds. Just as fast as the original ride, this indoor coaster takes travelers on a journey through space – or, in this case, hyperspace.
Star Wars fans can expect to find themselves in a fast-paced space battle between Rebels and the Imperial army.
Non-Star Wars fans will still enjoy the twists and turns of this uniquely space-themed classic Disney ride.
“Disney Paint the Night” Nighttime Spectacular
This is HK Disneyland’s nighttime parade spectacular. Half the fun of having a Disney day is making it a true day. You’ll want to be sure to start your day bright and early, before park open if possible, but don’t be tempted to end it early. Let the park say good-bye Disney style.
This spectacular is similar to Disneyworld’s Main Street Electrical Parade, a bright-light parade that runs through the entirety of the park.
Disney icons such as Peter Pan, the Little Mermaid, Toy Story characters and more pass by and wave from their floats. The parade is worth it, so stick it through to the end. You’ll feel even better wiped out on the bed of your Disney resort hotel knowing you experienced a full day!
Iron Man Experience
This is the first Disney attraction between all of the parks to feature a Marvel hero and is a must experience for Marvel fans. The ride is a 3-D motion simulator and features many characters and elements from Marvel movies, including Iron Man himself, Tony Stark, who fights HYDRA, alongside Jarvis.
The ride has a unique feel, as it is meant to show Tony Stark at the World Showcase, showing off new Stark inventions. Riders will feel truly immersed in a world they may have believed they would never have been able to experience.
It is truly visually impressive and immersive, and those who are a fan of well-designed rides cannot miss this one.
Where is the Resort Located?
HK Disneyland is located 18 km from the Hong Kong airport and provides tourists options to access it directly through taxi, train, or bus. It is recommended visitors use a private taxi to get there; this option is both faster and cheaper, as it is not too far but may take too long with public transportation.
Additionally, this saves visitors from the confusing hassle of trying to figure out a foreign country’s public transportation system, reading stop information and figuring out routes.
Hong Kong taxi drivers will be well acquainted with picking up and transporting visitors from the airport to Disneyland and will likely be more than happy to help you simplify the process as much as possible. It will likely take visitors about 15 minutes to travel from the airport to Disney by taxi, allowing them to start their vacation as soon as possible!
